About Rachel

Rachel Nekati is the founder and CEO of Achievement Enterprises, a Training and Business consulting firm in its 16th year. She is an Author, Executive Coach, Training Consultant and Cognitive Behavioural Life Coach. As an experienced strategic and transformational leader Ms Nekati has held executive positions in large organisations spanning various sectors and industries.

During her illustrious career, Ms Nekati held senior leadership positions in Standard Chartered Bank, Barclays Bank, and DeBeers Botswana. Rachel Nekati obtained her Banking experience in Singapore, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Ghana, and Botswana. While at Barclays Bank, she steered the achievement of creating and centralising the country's retail credit function through exceptional stakeholder engagement at all levels. She also positioned Barclays Bank Botswana Retail Credit function to the top position in Africa during her tenure at Barclays Bank.

Rachel Nekati is a seasoned entrepreneur, business consultant, BQA accredited trainer and certified cognitive behavioural life coach. Rachel has established an online training academy, the centre of excellence that equips people with the soft skills and competencies needed to execute in a dynamic environment.

Ms Nekati is the Board HR Chairperson for Morupule Coal Mine and Botswana Innovation Hub. During her Board membership tenure, she was also the Board HR Chairperson of Water Utilities Corporation and Botswana Technology Centre.

Ms Nekati holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Diploma in Applied Psychology and various Certificates and Accreditations in human behaviour disciplines and other areas of personal interest. She is pursuing a Master of Science in Business Psychology with the University of East London, UK.
